MIRI: A team of Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) today rescued a kitten that was trapped in a monsoon drain at around 12.13pm
A loud ‘meowing’ sound coming from the drain adjacent to a mart in Riam here led to the discovery of the trapped kitten.
According to Miri APM officer in charge, Captain Usman Harto, upon receiving an emergency call from a 34 year-old woman, four APM personnel were despatched to the scene.
“The wet feline was meowing desperately,” he said.
