KUCHING: KKB Engineering Bhd has won an adjudication case against Fook Lai Construction & Development Sdn Bhd over RM10.06 million in unpaid claims for structural steel work at a glove factory in Bintulu.

The dispute stems from subcontract work awarded on August 30, 2022, for the supply, fabrication, painting, and installation of structural steel at the Petchem Industrial Park in Tanjung Kidurong.

KKB filed the claim under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 in December 2024.

The adjudicator ruled in KKB’s favour on March 14, 2025.

KKB said both parties have since reached an amicable settlement but did not disclose terms.

Separately, Sarawak Oil Palms Bhd has offered 999,200 share options under its ESOS to eligible staff.

The RM2.75 exercise price compares with the RM3.04 closing price on April 2.

The ESOS runs until September 18, 2027, with 48 per cent of options vesting in 2025 and the remaining 52 per cent in 2026.
