MIRI: The Royal Malaysia Police Cooperative Sarawak Bhd (KOPODIMS) recorded a net profit of more than RM1.18 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2025, enabling the cooperative to declare a 16 per cent dividend to its members.
The strong financial performance was announced during KOPODIMS’ 75th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Pullman Miri on June 14.
Officiating at the meeting, KOPODIMS Chairman, ASP Joe Edmund Durong, said the cooperative remains committed to strengthening governance, enhancing financial performance and expanding business opportunities to safeguard the welfare and economic interests of its members.
He attributed the cooperative’s continued success to the unwavering support of members, the commitment of the board of directors and prudent management practices.
“The dividend declaration is a token of appreciation for the trust and continued support shown by members towards the cooperative,” he said a statement on Thursday (June 18).
According to him, the achievement demonstrates KOPODIMS’ ability to generate sustainable profits while continuing to provide various benefits and facilities to its members.
During the meeting, delegates also discussed the cooperative’s future direction, including strategies to improve business performance, strengthen governance and enhance members’ wellbeing.
KOPODIMS is regarded as one of Sarawak’s high-performing cooperatives, with its latest financial results reflecting continued growth and stability amid efforts to further expand its operations and services for members.
