KUCHING: The Kota Sentosa Christmas Parade 3.0 will bring festive cheer and togetherness to the community on November 29.
Organised by the Sarawak Evangelical Christian Association (SECA) and the Association of Churches Sarawak (ACS), the celebration will take place at Dewan Perniagaan Batu 7, Kota Sentosa.
Chairman of SECA and Organising Chairman of the Christmas Parade 2025 Reverend Greman Ujang said that this year’s theme reminds everyone that even in times of darkness and challenges, Jesus remains the Light who guides, restores, and unites believers as one body of Christ.
“Carrying the theme “Jesus, the Light of the World,” the annual parade features the participation of 18 local churches, uniting to spread the message of Love, Peace, and Unity through the birth of Jesus Christ,” he said.
He said this at the press conference of Kota Sentosa Christmas Parade 2025 at Christ Baptist Church Office, Jalan Stakan, Kota Sentosa yesterday (Nov18).
“The event will begin at 6:00 pm with a Christmas celebratory service before the parade starts at 7:45 pm, covering 1.5 kilometres around the Kota Sentosa commercial area.
“We are expecting two thousand or more participants for this year parade,” he said.
The parade will be attended by the Kota Sentosa Assemblyman Wilfred Yap alongside other distinguished guests and community leaders.
“Festivities will include a Christmas parade, Christmas carols with praise and worship, marking the spirit of Christmas in unity and faith.”
