DEBAK: Youth football pride was on full display as KSRB Bungin clinched the Under-18 ADUN Saribas Cup 2025, defeating Hermanos Saratok on penalties in front of an enthusiastic local crowd.
The favourites were pushed to the limit before prevailing 2–1 in the shootout after both sides battled to a goalless draw in the final held at the Riveria Sports Centre, Debak, on Sunday (Nov 30).
Prizes were presented by Betong Division Malay community leader Piee Alwi, who represented Deputy Minister of Women, Children and Community Wellbeing Development and Saribas assemblyman Datuk Mohammad Razi Sitam.
Razi had earlier officiated the opening ceremony on Sunday morning.
Also present were Betong Division Football Association (BDFA) secretary Saiful Hanizam Suhaini and several local community leaders.
Saiful said six teams competed in the tournament, representing clubs from Debak, Saratok, Pusa, Spaoh and Bungin.
The participating teams were Gurah FC Debak, Frenz FT Debak, Spaoh City, KSRB Bungin, Hermanos FC Saratok and Ajt FC Pusa.
