KUCHING: Kuching City FC are on an exciting run of form, with four wins and one draw in their past five matches of the Malaysian Super League.

However, they face a significant challenge in their upcoming clash against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on April 17 as they will be without two key players, Ramadhan Saifullah and Danial Amier.
Both players, currently on loan from JDT to Kuching City, will be unavailable for the match.
Despite this, Kuching City’s recent performances, with wins against Selangor FC, Sri Pahang FC and Kedah Darul Aman FC, suggest they have the capability to challenge the big names at the top.
Meanwhile, JDT announced on their Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page that they have appointed UEFA Champions League winner and former Spanish international, Luis Garcia, as their new chief executive officer (CEO) effective April 1, 2025.
Garcia, known for his iconic ‘thumb to mouth’ celebration, has played for top clubs such as Barcelona, Liverpool and Atlético Madrid.
He also previously held ambassadorial roles with FIFA, UEFA and La Liga.
The match between Kuching City FC and JDT promises to be an exciting encounter with plenty of storylines to follow.
