KUCHING: Kuching City FC continued their pre-season tour in Indonesia with a 2-2 draw against Garudayaksa, in a match held at the Arena Dewa United on Tuesday (Jul 22).
Foreign imports Joao Pedro and Ronald Ngah Wanja were on target for the Malaysian side, scoring in the first and second halves respectively.
Despite twice taking the lead, Kuching City were pegged back on both occasions by the resilient Indonesian outfit.
This fixture marked their third friendly on Indonesian soil, part of a broader preparation phase ahead of the domestic season.
The Sarawak-based club, under head coach Aidil Sharin Sahak, are scheduled to face Dewa United next — a stern test set for today at the same venue.
Kuching City will wrap up their Jakarta tour against Persita Tangerang on Sunday, 27 July, in what will be their final tune-up before returning home.
