KUCHING: Kuching City FC have taken another step forward in strengthening their club structure and governance after undergoing the club licensing application process for both the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Licence and National Licence.
In a post on the club’s official Facebook page, Sarawak’s sole representative in the top tier confirmed that they hosted a club licensing audit visit by the Malaysian Football League (MFL) Licensing Unit from Jan 21 to 23.
The visit was aimed at assessing the club’s licensing application progress, while also providing guidance and support to ensure full compliance with the required licensing standards.
The initiative reflects Kuching City FC’s continued commitment to aligning their operations with the professional benchmarks set by the AFC and the national governing body.
Throughout the three-day assessment, the MFL Club Licensing Unit shared technical input and best practices covering documentation, club management, finance, infrastructure, and operations.
