KUCHING: Kuching City FC head coach Aidil Sharin has issued a rallying cry for supporters to turn out in numbers at Sarawak Stadium, tomorrow (Sept 14).
The Singaporean tactician hopes a strong home presence will lift his side in their FA Cup second-leg clash against Brunei DPMM.
“We really need the fans’ support. Their energy will drive the players throughout the match,” Aidil told Arena Suara Sarawak.
He stressed that the presence of a passionate crowd would not only enliven the atmosphere but also heap pressure on the visitors.
Kuching City face a steep challenge, needing at least a 2-0 win to overturn the one-goal deficit after losing 3-2 in the first leg in Bandar Seri Begawan on Aug 16.
With the stakes high, Aidil believes the fans can be the difference in helping his men summon that extra edge under the Petra Jaya lights.
