KUCHING: Kuching City FC have signed Cameroonian forward, Jerome Mpacko Etame, in a move aimed at boosting their attacking options for the remainder of the season.
The club confirmed the signing today, announcing that Etame has officially joined the Cats as they look to add more firepower up front in their push for improved results.
Etame, who hails from Cameroon, is expected to provide added pace and physical presence in attack, with the club hoping his arrival will sharpen their cutting edge in the final third.
The Cameroonian forward previously played for Lebanese Premier League club, Al-Ahed, before signing with Kuching City.
The latest acquisition continues Kuching City’s efforts to strengthen the squad mid-season, as the club previously brought in two new players – Ariff Farhan and Ahmad Nawaf Abdel Aziz Israiwah, to reinforce key areas.
Those additions underlined the club’s intent to remain competitive as the campaign enters a crucial phase, with Etame now the latest piece in Kuching City’s rebuilding puzzle.
