KUCHING: Loyal Kuching City FC supporters are being called to paint the Sarawak State Stadium in Petra Jaya green and white on Sunday night (November 9).
The Cats prepare for their biggest battle yet against the Southern Tigers of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in the first leg of the 2025 Malaysia FA Cup semi-final.

The twelfth man, the home crowd, is expected to be the driving force behind Aidil Sharin Sahak’s men as they look to roar past the reigning champions in front of their own fans.
Kuching City team manager, Irwanshah Mohamad, said the players are ready to fight for every ball but need the fans to lift the atmosphere and make the stadium a fortress once again.
“We’re calling on all Kuching City supporters to turn up in full force at the Sarawak State Stadium on Sunday night.
“Your energy from the stands can make all the difference – to spur our players on and make life difficult for the visiting side,” said Irwanshah recently.
Acknowledging JDT’s stature as the benchmark of Malaysian football and a dominant force in Asia, Irwanshah said the home side remains unfazed and fully focused on putting up a spirited performance.
Therefore, he believes that the squad, under the experienced guidance of head coach, Aidil Sharin Sahak, will give their very best performance throughout the match.
“I’m confident the players will do everything they can to deliver their best performance,” he added.
At the same time, Irwanshah expressed hope that the team can secure a comfortable goal advantage to take into the return leg away from home on November 30.
With a big crowd expected, Irwanshah reminded supporters to come early and soak in the electric match-day atmosphere.
