KUCHING: Kuching City FC players looked sharp in their red kits during training as they prepared for their upcoming Malaysian Super League clash.

The players appeared to be engaged in a rondo exercise, with half the team wearing green bibs, while the others in full red formed another team.

A common passing practice, the players gave their all, although there were also light-hearted moments among them.

For the past week, rain has been a frequent occurrence, yet despite the wet training ground, the shared goal remains the same.

There’s a palpable sense of excitement buzzing around the training camp, and with II Gatto set to face Perak FC on Friday at 7.30 pm, anticipation is building for what promises to be an electrifying encounter.

The mission is clear — secure all three points at home, head coach Aidil Sharin Sahak will be urging his players to go all out, pressing the visitors from the first whistle.

The goal is to create an atmosphere so intense that Perak will find it difficult to break through.

Fans will play a vital role in this mission, becoming the twelfth man and lifting the team with their unwavering support.

A roaring crowd could be the spark that drives The Cats to a commanding performance – the Sarawak State Stadium needs to be a fortress and the players will be counting on the fans’ energy to show Perak that Kuching is not a place to be taken lightly.

Among the players seen in training were Danial Amier, Moses Atede, Jordan Mintah, Ramadhan Saifullah, Nur Shamie Iszuan, Filemon Anyie Standly, and Mohd Arif Fadzilah — all putting in the work and gearing up for the challenge ahead.

The Cats versus The Gaurs, who will have the final say? We shall wait and see.
