KUCHING: The Kuching Love Book Association is set to hold its 15th blood donation campaign this Sunday, March 16, at Emart Batu Kawa, from 10am to 3pm.
The event is organised in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Kuching Branch.
Tay Motors, Supreme Consolidated Resources Sdn Bhd, Old Street Enterprise, Dahfa Foods Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Asprime Sdn Bhd, Assuccess Sdn Bhd and Wecare Bakery are sponsoring the event.
According to the association, the campaign aims to address the shortage of blood supplies at SGH’s Blood Bank.
“We hope that people from all walks of life will actively attend and support this meaningful blood donation event and help people in urgent need of blood,” it said.
The first 80 donors to successfully donate will receive a goodie bag and refreshments as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
