KUCHING: A cycling event, Taiwan Cycling Fun Share, will be held this Sunday (Oct 19) in conjunction with Kuching Car Free Morning, offering cycling enthusiasts and the public a fun and inspiring experience at Padang Merdeka.
The programme is organised by Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) in collaboration with PCP Publications from Kuala Lumpur and supported by the Taiwan Tourism Administration.
DBKU said highlighting the event will be Matt Moss, a Kuching-born cycling icon who has been residing in Taiwan for the past five years.
“Moss, who holds two Malaysia Book of Records titles for his cycling achievements in Taiwan, is also the author of the motivational book ‘Beat Your Limits, Achieve Your Dreams’.
“His participation is expected to inspire attendees through his sharing of unique experiences and achievements in the world of cycling,” DBKU said.
Participants will also enjoy exclusive goodies and stand a chance to win prizes through a lucky draw, all on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration is free, and those interested can sign up via https://forms.gle/t1RDdhQ7vLBEgw3S7. The registration deadline is Thursday, Oct 16, at 11.59am.
Kuching residents and cycling enthusiasts are encouraged to take part in the event and enjoy a healthy, fun-filled morning together.
