KUCHING: Kuching Toastmasters Club (KTMC) has announced its new executive committee for the 2025-2026 term, continuing its commitment to nurturing excellence in public speaking and leadership.
Leading the newly elected team is president Ting Sii Yu, supported by vice presidents Wee Pei Chai (Education), Jonathan Huong (Membership), and Alice Ong (Public Relations).
The team also includes Gregory Tan as secretary, Chester Bong as treasurer and Aaron Ling as sergeant-at-arms, with Mike Lim and Janice Lim serving as committee members.
The club recently made headlines by successfully organising the 12th Youth Communication Camp 2024 at Kem Putra Sentosa, Sematan, which saw a record-breaking turnout of 250 students from secondary schools across Kuching, Samarahan, Bau and Sematan.
With 20 active members currently, KTMC expects its numbers to grow, citing increasing demand for strong communication and leadership abilities in various industries.
The club’s first educational meeting under the new leadership will take place on Sunday night, July 1, 2025, at Kuching CSSC, Jalan Abell.
