MOSCOW, Russia: Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, on Friday confirmed that the next round of trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States (US) on a settlement will take place next week in Geneva, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
Earlier in the day, Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that the next round of Russia-US-Ukraine negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement will be held on Feb 17-18 in Geneva.
Russian presidential aide, Vladimir Medinsky, will head the delegation, the spokesman added.
“The next round of trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, the United States and Russia should take place in Geneva on Feb 17-18. The Ukrainian delegation has already begun preparations for this meeting,” Umerov wrote on Telegram.
The latest round of talks involving negotiators from Russia, the US, and Ukraine took place in Abu Dhabi from Feb 4-5.
