KUCHING: A Miri Malay Charitable Trust Board (LAKMM) delegation paid a courtesy call on Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud at the Astana yesterday.
The delegation was led by its chairman, Dato’ Abdillah Abdul Rahim.
The purpose of the courtesy call was to extend an invitation to Taib and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Raghad Kurdi Taib, to attend the Hari Raya celebration which is expected to be held in Miri on the fifth day of Hari Raya (29 June).
The delegation also paid a visit to Chief Minister, Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.
