MIRI: In light of the ongoing dry weather and low rainfall in water catchment areas, Laku Management Sdn Bhd (Laku) is urging consumers to conserve water as the raw water intake and dam reservoir water level have significantly dropped.
“The dry season is expected to continue until September,” said Laku on today (May 18).
With the approaching Gawai Dayak, Laku strongly encourages consumers to practice water conservation and use water wisely.
“This can be achieved by minimising outdoor watering activities, promptly repairing any leaking pipes and faucets, and reporting any external pipe leakages to Laku for swift resolution.”
For a comprehensive list of domestic water-saving tips, consumers can visit Laku’s website at www.lakumanagement.com.my.
Enquiries or reports regarding issues such as pipe leakages, coloured water, or low water pressure can be directed to Laku’s 24-hour hotline numbers at 085-426626 / 436626 (Miri), 086-318160 (Bintulu/Samalaju), and 085-215644 / 211601 (Limbang).
