SIBU: Sibu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) has been entrusted by Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) to organise the Lantern Festival.
The festival will be held from October 3 until October 26, 2017 at the Sibu Town Square Phase 1.
The square will be lit by various types of lanterns during the festival.
The Sibu Year 2017 Mascot will be displayed at the Town Square to promote Sibu Visit Year 2017.
In conjunction with the Lantern Festival, a trade expo, food fair and fun fair will be held at Sibu Town Square Phase 2.
Local food outlet operators can promote their food during the food fair.
