LUNDU: The Jaznan Foundation will be donating the pension funds of the late Pehin Sri Adenan Satem, or fondly known as Tok Nan, to the needy (asnaf) students of Tanjong Datu constituency every year before the beginning of Ramadan month.

According to Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan, who is also the son of Tok Nan, this generous act will enable those students to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with their families as well as buy school supplies when the new academic session starts.

He said this at the presentation ceremony of donations for mosques and suraus as well as the donation presentation for asnaf students of N3 Tanjong Datu at Masjid Pehin Sri Haji Adenan Haji Adenan yesterday (March 18).

Azizul speaks during the ceremony.

Azizul said a total of 50 students, 26 mosques, and 18 suraus will receive the donations from them, while four settlements will receive donations from Lembaga Amanah Penyu.

Each mosque and surau will get RM800 and RM500, respectively.
