ASAJAYA: Latif FC powered to the title of the 58th edition of the Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah Asajaya Unity Cup Football Tournament 2026 after a convincing 3-0 victory over Camutez FC in the final today.

The experienced trio of Mohd Hafis Abu Bakar, Mohd Adib Salim and Izray Iffarul Roslan starred for Latif FC, scoring in the 25th, 52nd and 60th minutes respectively to seal a commanding win.

The victory saw the team coached by Mohd Abdul Latif take home RM7,000 in cash, the challenge trophy, a subsidiary trophy, medals and sports goods vouchers sponsored by Lea Sports Centre (LSC).

Meanwhile, runners-up Camutez FC received RM5,000 in cash along with a trophy, medals and sports goods vouchers also sponsored by LSC.

In addition, Abang Mohd Haiqal Abang Za’afari of Latif FC was named ‘Man of the Match’ in the final, earning sports goods vouchers sponsored by LSC.

Tarang FC striker, Mohd Hadera Bakeri, emerged as the tournament’s top scorer with five goals and also received sports goods vouchers sponsored by LSC.

Meanwhile, Kuak FC and KBSB 1, who were eliminated in the semi-finals, shared third place and each received RM3,000 in cash, along with trophies, medals and sports goods vouchers sponsored by LSC.

The prize presentation ceremony was officiated by Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development. Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
