KUCHING: The Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) has extended assistance to victims of recent fires at Rumah Panjang Lapie, Ulu Sebauh, and Rumah Panjang Sungai Beji, Sebauh, in Bintulu as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
In a statement, LCDA said the initiative, held under ‘LCDA Prihatin 2025’, is part of the agency’s annual CSR programme.
This year’s theme, ‘From the Community, To the Community’, reflects LCDA’s focus on supporting those in need while reinforcing its commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles.

“In response to the recent tragedies, LCDA contributed a total of RM15,000 in financial assistance, along with clothing, food supplies, and daily essentials to help ease the burden of the affected families.
“The contribution was handed over by the President of the LCDA Sports, Recreation and Welfare Club (LAKSAMANA), Wan AlamShah Wan Asnawi, on behalf of LCDA,” the statement added.
LCDA reaffirmed its commitment to delivering meaningful support to communities, especially during times of crisis, while continuing to foster strong ties with the people it serves.
