I congratulate our Premier on his 9th anniversary in office, marked by an outstanding and visionary performance. His courageous leadership in advancing the digital and green economy through the PCDS 2030 has positioned Sarawak at the forefront of sustainable development in the region.
Under his tenure, revenue reengineering initiatives have strengthened state finances, enabling major improvements in infrastructure, power and water supply, rural internet connectivity and agricultural modernisation.
His tireless efforts to restore Sarawak’s rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 have delivered benefits to all Sarawakians, regardless of race or religion, particularly in education, administration and control over land and resources.
With progressive new laws and amendments keeping Sarawak relevant and globally recognised, I wholeheartedly support his leadership and, on behalf of the people of Marudi, thank him for his commitment to rural development.
