‘Legasy Pakwik’ wins miniature boat racing title

MUKAH: ‘Legasy Pakwik’ was the winner of  a miniature boat racing competition held at a 100-meter track at Kampung Tellian Ulu here over the weekend.

Owned by 68-year-old Jokelin Belalan from Kampung Tellian Ulu, it beat five other boats in the grand final for the title.

Rajawali Putera Alam  owned by Steven SBS was in second place and Nabau belonging to John Nairi Deni, in third place.

The race which went through several preliminaries attracted 262 entries from Kpg Judan, Kpg Petanak, Kpg Jebungan, Kpg Sungai Alo, Kpg Sesok, Kpg Teh,  Kpg Tabo, Kpg Tellian Tengah and Tellian Ulu.

Prizes were presented by Penghulu Lai Mayer Gabong, witnessed by a local recreational club Tujunokala chairman  Sebastian Zaini Jaraee and the organising committee members.
