SEMATAN: A lobster breeding course for the Sampadi Zone will be held by the Tanjong Datu service centre together with the Lundu District Agriculture Department on this October 20.
Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan said the course is a free admission programme to outreach the community there.
“This course is to provide knowledge to the community to increase their income and improve their economy,” he said.
He said this at the Lobster Breeding Course that was held at Kampung Siru Melayu Community Hall in Sematan, recently.
On the course, Azizul also hopes that the course participants can work together to establish a cooperative that will increase their economic interests.
The course was attended by a total of 30 participants from the Sematan Zone and previously the same course was held at the Lundu Zone on October 4.
