BAU: A man died this morning after the car he was driving got involved in an accident along Jalan Singai-Musi here.
Bau District Police chief Superintendent Mohd Haide A. Rahman said initial investigations found that the man was driving alone in a Proton Wira from Bau heading towards Kuching when the incident occurred.
“The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedic team from Bau Hospital at 8.59 am,” he said in a statement.
Haide added that further investigations are being conducted to determine the exact cause of the accident.
He said a full report on the incident will be issued once all information has been obtained.
“Road users are also advised to always drive carefully, especially in areas with dangerous bends or slippery road surfaces, to prevent similar tragedies from recurring,” he said.
