MIRI: The project to enhance internal roads, carpark and drainage in Long Lama Town under the Highland Development Agency (HDA) is progressing ahead of schedule.

Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) chief executive officer Datuk Ismawi Ismuni visited the site on Thursday to inspect the progress of the project.

“The construction is progressing ahead of schedule, with significant work already completed.

“Key activities, including site clearance, earthworks  and structural preparations, are in the advanced stages.

“The project aims to enhance urban infrastructure, ensuring better accessibility and a more organised parking system for the town,” RECODA said in a statement today.

The authority reiterated its dedication to expanding and upgrading road networks in the HDA region  not only to improve connectivity and safety but also to create more economic opportunities for local communities.
