BUKIT BEGUNAN: The upgrading project of the Rumah Panjang Franklin Guang, Rawan Ili Tanjung Bijat is expected to be completed by June this year.

According to Bukit Begunan assemblyman, Datuk Mong Dagang, the upgrading project, carried out through the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP), involved an allocation of RM100,000.

“The upgrading works of this longhouse began on February 22, and the project implementation period is for four months,” he said.

He said this during a working visit with the project implementing agency, the Public Works Department (PWD) on Friday.

Adding on, he also said that the building of the house poles, cementing the veranda (ruai) and main room have been completed.

“The residents also told me that they are satisfied with the implementation of this RTP project,” he said.
