The accident, involving a Perodua Aruz and a container lorry, happened at around 8.20 am near Ladang 3.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Niah station were dispatched to the scene, about 42km away, following a distress call at 8.23 am.
Upon arrival, they found a victim trapped inside the overturned lorry’s cabin, and a crane towing service was used to reposition the cabin to facilitate extrication efforts.
