SERIAN: A lorry carrying oil palm fruits overturned at Kampung Jirok along the Serian-Sri Aman Road on Friday, causing a temporary road obstruction and traffic disruption.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the incident occurred at around 11.53 am.
The department received the emergency call at 11.22 am and dispatched a fire engine immediately.
Upon arrival at the scene, the fire crew found that the trailer lorry had overturned, spilling oil palm fruits across the roadway.
The driver, a man in his 30s, had already exited the vehicle and was unharmed.
Bomba personnel monitored the situation but did not engage in active rescue operations, as the clean-up was carried out by the Pan Borneo Highway contractor and the lorry company.
Traffic was restored shortly after the area was cleared and deemed safe.
No other casualties were reported, and investigations confirmed that the incident involved a single vehicle.
