KUCHING: A 10-tonne lorry and a pickup collided at the junction of Jalan Keranji, Bau at about 11am yesterday morning, causing a massive jam.
The pickup driver, a 58-year- old man who was ferrying grocery items, sustained injuries.
After the collision, both vehicles could not move.This caused the injured person to be stuck inside the pickup.
Firemen were called to the scene to free his pinned legs using a Hydraulic Spreaderbefore rushing him to the hospital for treatment. He was warded for injuries to his leg.
