LUBUK ANTU: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Sri Aman division detained a truck carrying 20 units of barrel drums filled with 200 litres of diesel valued at RM47,480 here on July 13 at about 1pm.
“Preliminary investigations found the truck owner had no licence or special permission to deal with the regulated goods, namely diesel,” it said on a press release yesterday.
This case is being investigated under Section 21 of the Control of Supply Act 1961 read in conjunction with Regulation 3 (1) of the Control of Supply Regulations 1974.
Offenders will be fined not more than RM3 million for each offence committed.
