SIBU: LPDC Target emerged as champions of the 2026 Sarawak Closed Doubles Darts Championship, lifting the prestigious YM Professor Dato Paduka Seri Is Dr Tunza Mohd Riduan Challenge Trophy, held at Sri Krian Community Hall in Saratok recently.
They defeated War’s 15 Super Redz in the Gold Plate final, taking home RM5,000.
War’s 15 Super Redz earned RM2,500 for finishing as first runners-up.
Joint third were SOS 72 and QRT 81 while SD Vanguard, War’s 15 Merdeka, Team Utara 8586, and Kasoul AM completed the top eight.
The remaining top 16 finishers were Supreme, Team Utara AR, THM x 8973, Happy Darters, LPDC 88, Sulcon 77, SBW DC Vortex, and MC-MKH.
In the Silver Plate, Samakayau NTN claimed the title after overcoming Lonewolf AU in the final.
RX Team and BOC x King’z AA shared third place, while LPDC 88, VX, MDC TSM, and Monster Fly 2 rounded out the top eight.
Several special awards were also presented in recognition of outstanding individual performances throughout the championship.
Karim of War’s 15 Black Maria won the Most 180’s award after recording four maximum 180 scores during the tournament.
The Highest Checkout award went to SOS 72 for a superb 124-point finish, while Sulcon 77 captured the Fastest Checkout award by completing a winning leg in just 14 darts.
Organised by the Setarok Darts Sports Club (KSDS), the two-day championship, held on Aug 1 and 2, attracted top darts players from across Sarawak, who battled through a round-robin stage before advancing to the knockout rounds.
