KUCHING: The management of CityOne Megamall is giving away a luxury 2-bedroom condominium unit as the grand prize to the winner of its “Spend and Win” contest.
During the contest launch yesterday, the mall’s management described it as something no other mall in Malaysia has ever done.
The contest which started on Jan 1, 2019 will end on June 30 where the grand prize winner will walk away with the keys to a 2-bedroom unit of Richmond Hill Gold condominium worth RM450,000.
CityOne Megamall head of advertising and promotion Fiona Cosmos said they wanted to show their appreciation to loyal customers and that is why the management has come up with a grand prize of such a substantial value.
Sponsored by Kenbest Sdn Bhd, the developer of CityOne Megamall, Royal Richmond Gold is one of their latest developments.
“Other prizes include a sofa set, a Honda Wave motorcycle, a Gintell massage chair and many more.
“Shoppers have to only spend a minimum of RM100 on a single receipt to be eligible to enter with other stipulated terms and conditions,” she added.
Fiona also said the tenants and brands involved in the campaign include Metrojaya, senQ, Mummycare, Jom Pharmacy, Golden Screen Cinema (GSC), DreamTown, Scentiments, Sharing Too and many more.
“There will be three separate draw dates which are Feb 23, April 27 and the final draw on July 6 when the grand prize winner will be revealed,” she explained.
Meanwhile, CityOne Megamall will also be hosting Sarawak’s first E-Sport on Jan 25.
It will be a weekend of workshops on responsible online gaming, beating gaming addiction and how to make a professional living out of online gaming which will be officiated by Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
