KUALA LUMPUR: The Technical Committee meeting under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 Implementation Action Council (MTPMA63) on Monday focused on gathering views and feedback from various stakeholders on matters yet to be finalised under MA63.
The meeting, held at Parliament premises, was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusof, in capacity as chairman of the MTPMA63 Technical Committee.
The meeting aimed to review input from federal ministries and agencies as well as the Sabah and Sarawak governments, including identifying appropriate approaches and directions to resolve outstanding matters.
“Three presentation papers were also tabled by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and the Sabah and Sarawak Affairs Division of the Prime Minister’s Department,” he said in a Facebook post.

The federal government was represented by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak) Datuk Mustapha Sakmud along with several other ministers.
The Sarawak government was represented by the three Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian.
Meanwhile, the Sabah government was represented by its Deputy Chief Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G. Kitingan, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun and Datuk Ewon Benedick.
