BINTULU: Despite being affected by the recent flood disaster, the spirit of the Madani Community of Iran Suai remains strong in extending help to other flood victims.
Since Feb 4, the Madani Community of Iran Suai has been actively providing assistance to flood victims in Kampung Iran, Suai, and at the Temporary Evacuation Centre (PPS) at SMK Suai.
The aid distributed includes contributions such as cleaning supplies, snacks, drinking water, and rice, which are hoped to ease the burden of the affected victims.
According to Madani Community of Iran Suai chairman Nazarnie Salleh, the assistance provided is part of the community’s efforts to help the local community.
“More than 80 aid packages have been distributed to the flood victims in Kampung Iran, Suai today and at the PPS SMK Suai on Feb 4, by the members of the Madani Community of Iran Suai,” he said through a press statement on Thursday (Feb 6).
This effort is in line with the objectives of establishing the Madani Community, which is to instil Madani values and principles within society through community efforts.
