KUCHING: The seventh edition of MakersMeet 2024 — a get-together platform for makers, creators and innovators to connect and share ideas — is set to be held from June 29 to 30 at the Sarawak State Library (Pustaka) here.
Pustaka said that this year it is collaborating with one of Kuching’s biggest anime events which is AnimaxToys Volume 8 (Retro Reverie).
“Connect with local designers, creators, and anime enthusiasts, share ideas, learn new skills, and dive into a world of innovation and retro charm.
“Whether you’re a maker, an anime fan, or just curious, this event is for you,” Pustaka said in its Facebook post.
Pustaka added that it has an exciting line-up of programmes for the participants where each programme offers a unique experience tailored to different interest, audience and set skills.
The state library urged the public to register as soon as possible due to the limited slots.
Some of the upcoming programme highlights include FPV Drone Race and Exhibition by Droneskaki Sarawak, Hydroponics Workshop by Toclan Agrotech, Metal Sculpting Workshop by Kasat Arca, RC Planes Demonstration and Exhibition by Petra Jaya Flyer RC, 3D Scan and Laser Cutting by Milus Miniatures, Children’s Workshop by Tutufun, and Cooking Workshop by Teach Them to Bake Academy.
