KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines has unveiled a major global fare sale under its latest campaign, ‘Time for memorable journeys’, offering heavily discounted fares across its domestic and international network.
The promotion runs until May 20 this year with travel valid through to March 31, 2026.
The campaign marks the latest phase of the airline’s ongoing “Time For” initiative and aims to inspire leisure and business travellers to reconnect with destinations and cultures in style and at a discount.
Return Economy Class fares start from as low as RM119 for domestic routes such as Kota Kinabalu and Langkawi, while international fares begin at RM419 to cities including Bangkok, Trivandrum and Paris.
Other featured destinations include Da Nang, Auckland, and Brisbane, the latter set to return to the airline’s network later this year.
Each Economy fare includes 20kg of checked baggage, offering strong value in an era of increasingly unbundled travel products.
The promotion comes at a time when regional carriers are ramping up competition with value-driven offerings.
Passengers booking during the campaign will also benefit from Malaysia Airlines’ signature touches, including complimentary meals and inflight entertainment.
For those travelling through Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Terminal 1, a Bonus Side Trip feature allows for a complimentary domestic stopover with destinations including Penang, Langkawi and Johor Bahru without the need for separate bookings.
Families are catered for through the MH Young Explorers Club, which offers children’s meals, activity packs, and priority boarding, while premium travellers enjoy an elevated ground experience.
A 24-hour Private Terminal Transfer Service is available for Enrich Platinum, Business Suite, and Business Class passengers, utilising Mercedes-Benz electric and hybrid vehicles to shuttle passengers between KLIA’s main and satellite terminals.
The promotion is underpinned by Malaysia Airlines’ newly refined fare structure Economy Basic, Value, and Flex offering tiered benefits including seat selection, baggage allowance, and change flexibility.
Enrich loyalty members receive an additional five per cent discount, with the carrier encouraging non-members to register for free to access similar benefits.
