KUALA LUMPUR: The national football squad will play their second 2027 Asian Cup Group F qualifying match on June 10 when they host Vietnam at home at National Stadium, Bukit Jalil, here.

Harimau Malaya chief executive officer Rob Friend announced the details of the match in a statement today, adding that they were excited by the prospect of playing in front of their many dedicated local fans.

“We’re excited to welcome Vietnam in Bukit Jalil on June 10 for a match expected to be full of emotion and passion.
It isn’t merely a qualifier, it’s the moment Malaysians unite behind the Harimau Malaya and show the true strength of our national pride.

“We are building something special.
We can’t wait for our fans to fill Bukit Jalil and make it a night to be remembered forever,” he said.

Malaysia started off their qualifying campaign well with a 2-0 victory over at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri, Johor on March 25 and will play Laos on Oct 9.
