KUCHING: More mini anchors are coming to CityOne Megamall here this year.

Met by reporters after the launching of “Spend and Win” Contest by CityOne MC Sdn Bhd at the shopping mall yesterday, CityOne Megamall owner Stephen Long Tine Chung (pic) said his team is doing their best to bring back the confidence of the public.

“And we are also putting our best effort to bring more tenants now.

“We are negotiating with mini anchors now. People are very positive and sooner or later, in two months’ time I will announce to you all on the mini anchors coming in,” he said.

Long added that the management is very positive, working very hard and the response in the business sector is promising because this time they are putting a lot of efforts to make it happen.

“We have quite a lot of tenants here but we still think that it is not enough. We want to make it more exciting so that when the public come here they will have more to see, shop and eat. And I promise it will be happening in 2019,” he said, adding that the public will also see a lot of changes and improvements in CityOne Megamall.

Asked on whether NeNe Chicken will be operating in CityOne Megamall after the incident, Long said they would love to have NeNe Chicken operating again.

“But we’ll see how things go. We are positive and are not giving up,” he said.
