KUCHING: A local man was killed after the car he was driving plunged into a drain along Jalan Stutong Baru here early yesterday.
Ling Kian Hua, 30, from Jalan Batu Kawa, was travelling along the road at 12.30am when his vehicle suddenly went out of control, skidded and hit a lamp post before plunging into the drain.
Ling died at the scene. His body was extricated by firefighters and later sent to the Sarawak General Hospital for a post mortem.
