PADAWAN: A local man drowned while bathing at Giam Waterfall along Jalan Puncak Borneo here this afternoon.
Padawan Police Chief, Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, said they were alerted to the incident after receiving information from the public at 12:06 pm.
The 21-year-old victim was pulled out of the water by members of the public and rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital.
Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead by a medical officer at the hospital.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
