PADAWAN: A local man was found dead in a rented room along Jalan Stephen Yong Link yesterday (Apr 22).
Padawan police chief Mohd Irwan Hafiz MD Radzi said they received a report regarding the incident at 2.45 pm.
“The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) along with paramedics were dispatched to the scene.
“They confirmed that the 49-year-old had died at the scene,” he said in a statement,
Preliminary investigations at the scene, found no signs of foul play linked to the man’s death.
Mohd Irwan said the man’s body was taken to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for a post-mortem.
The case is being classified as sudden death.
