MUKAH: An unknown body of man has been found in a forested area near Pantai Kala Dana this morning.
Mukah police chief DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias said that members of the public alerted the police of the at around 10am.
“The body of a 27-year-old local, was discovered about 150 metres from the Mukah Kaul Festival area.
“Preliminary investigations found no signs of struggle or any malicious acts that could be linked to criminal elements at the scene,” he said in a statement.
Rizal added that the victim’s body has been taken to the Mukah Hospital for a post-mortem.
The case is being classified as sudden death.
