BETONG: A man sustained injuries to his ear and shoulder after the car he was driving overturned along Jalan Bebangai-Kampung Sekuyat this morning.
The victim’s vehicle is believed to have skidded off the road before crashing into nearby bushes at around 9.15 am.
The driver, whose identity has yet to be confirmed, was found conscious but injured at the scene.
Firefighters from Betong station were deployed to assist the man from his overturned vehicle, located about 51 km from their station.
He was later handed over to an emergency medical rescue services (EMRS) team and brought to Betong Hospital for further treatment.
