KUCHING: A man was beaten and stabbed by a group of men after he was taken to a car around 11pm last Tuesday.

The victim in his 40s was having dinner with two friends in an eatery at 3rd Mile, Rock Road when a
group of 15 men accosted them.

The group told his friends not to interfere as they wanted to discuss something with the victim and also wanted to take him to a police station to settle something.

While they took the man to a car, they punched and also stabbed his stomach with a sharp object.

He was later thrown out of the car at a nearby cemetery.

The victim who was bleeding profusely from the stab wound managed to seek help from a passer-by
who called an ambulance which took him to Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the case.
