KUCHING: A local man was injured in an accident near Saradise, Jalan Stutong, here early this morning.
The accident happened at around 3:15 am when a Lexus LC500 sports convertible skidded out of control and crashed near Kosa Coffee.
Firefighters from Tabuan Jaya station were dispatched to the scene following an emergency call.
Although the victim was not actually trapped inside, firefighters faced difficulty extricating him due to the confined space in the vehicle.
The injured man was successfully removed using a stretcher before being handed over to paramedics for further treatment. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team ended the operation and returned to their station.
