PADAWAN: A local man was injured after falling from a crane while installing a signboard at a business premises along Jalan Kuching-Serian this morning.
The incident happened at around 10:50 am when the victim fell from a height of about 10 feet, sustaining injury to his waist.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Siburan station was promptly dispatched to the scene following a distress call.
Upon arrival, the team carried the victim to a safe area before stabilising his condition and providing initial treatment.
The injured man was later transported to Serian Hospital for further medical treatment.
