KOTA SAMARAHAN: One man sustained minor injuries following a road accident involving two vehicles near Farley Supermarket, Bandar Riyal, here early this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said it received an emergency call at about 12.17 am and fire engines from the Kota Samarahan Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene.
The accident involved a Perodua Bezza and a Mitsubishi Triton. Upon arrival at 12.29 am, firefighters found the Bezza driver still inside the vehicle but not trapped, while the Triton driver had managed to exit the vehicle safely before their arrival.
Firefighters assisted in removing the Bezza driver and subsequently handed him over to the Civil Defence Force (APM) ambulance for further treatment.
Bomba personnel also carried out cleaning works at the scene to ensure safety.
