MIRI: A man made a police report after learning that his 15-year-old daughter was made pregnant by her boyfriend.
The girl had befriended the man via Facebook in January last year.
The girl’s father lodged a police report on Thursday after a medical officer confirmed that she was seven months pregnant.
Meanwhile, Miri District Police chief, Superintendent Stanley Jonathan Ringgit confirmed receiving a report on the incident.
“Police are now tracking down the suspect to assist in the investigation under Section 376 of the Penal Code,” he said when met at Miri Central Police Station yesterday.
